Let’s start with an Introduction!
I am Emmanuel Obiajulu Ukah. I am the Design and Project Lead for Neilz Design Fitout Limited, a leading design and building company that manages complex interior and architectural projects for top-level corporations.
That’s interesting. What is it like being a design and project lead? Walk us through a typical workday.
Being a Design and Project Lead comes with a lot of challenges that words can’t express. From managing projects and following up with new clients, from one budget meeting to creating new design concepts. This is asides my responsibilities as a husband and a father and also ensuring I am there for other family members and friends.
How did you first discover Moni and what motivated you to start using the app?
I heard about Moni last year. I met the Moni team at the DCC (David’s Christian center) career connect conference. The Moni team did a good job of bringing me on board with an interest rate that I thought was extremely high. But after understanding Moni’s solid business model and how they’re able to support the growth of small businesses by balancing risk and reward, I was convinced. I deposited my first 20mn with the risk of losing it.

You mentioned how the Moni Team brought you on board, Can you tell us about your experience with our customer service team?
I have had a wonderful experience with your account managers so far. They are always answering my questions, bringing me up to speed with CBN regulations and news, always calling to check up on my business and ensuring that I make good investment choices. Every time I speak to the customer service team regarding app issues, withdrawal problems and interest rate errors, they have been very responsive and spot-on with their feedback.
How has saving with Moni helped you achieve your personal or financial goals? And is there any feature or service you wish Moni had?
From our first investment last year, my investment portfolio has grown with the help of the interest margins I receive from my savings on Moni. This is an important part of the financial goals we have achieved using Moni. We have met the first investment target and on track with achieving the next. Some features I’d like to see on the app include more investment opportunities, easy access to downloading account statements, and allowing verified users to carry out international transfers.
Is there anything you’re looking forward to spending your savings on?
I’ve been saving with Moni for some time now, and as my savings reach maturity, I plan to focus on property investments. I like the stability and long-term growth potential of real estate. Moni has helped me build a saving habit and now I can use part of those savings to start building my property portfolio. I’m also considering diversifying into higher-risk investments to complement my real estate ventures.
