We respect your privacy and believe you should have full control over your data. If you’d like to delete your personal data from Moni, here’s everything you need to know.
What data is deleted?
When you request data deletion, we’ll remove:
- Your personal information (name, phone number, email)
- Transaction history and saved contacts
- Any messages or interactions
- Account settings and preferences
Note: We may retain limited data where legally required (e.g. for fraud prevention or regulatory compliance).
Before you delete
- This action is permanent.
- You will lose access to your account and all linked data.
- You won’t be able to recover deleted information.
- Deletion may take up to 30 days to fully process across all systems.
How to request deletion
- Open the Moni app.
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Tap Delete My Data and follow the instructions.
- We’ll confirm once your request has been received.
Why we may keep some data
In certain cases, we may retain information for:
- Legal or regulatory obligations
- Security or fraud prevention
- Resolving disputes or enforcing terms
