Meet Geraldyn: a beauty and commercial model, model coach, content creator and certified thrift queen. With a strong passion for mentoring young talent and curating standout fashion content for brands, Geraldyn is a name to know in the Nigerian fashion and modeling industry. Her outfits and styling are also proof that you don’t need to break the bank to serve unforgettable style.
My name is Geraldyne…
I’m a beauty and commercial model. I also coach and mentor young models, especially those just starting out in the industry. It’s really important to have someone guide you through the early stages. Modeling can be exciting, but without mentorship, it’s easy to feel lost. I’ve made it part of my mission to be that support system.

I also work with brands to create and curate content. Occasionally, I manage social media accounts, especially for fashion businesses. So, in a way, I get to blend my creativity with strategy, which is something I love.
If you could raid any celebrity’s wardrobe for a red carpet event, whose would it be and why?
Zendaya, hands down! She’s iconic. Every outfit she wears is so well thought out and intentional. It’s like art. One of my favorites was from her Challengers movie tour, she wore a pair of custom heels that literally had a tennis ball inside them. Mind-blowing!

And then there was this Mugler piece she wore during the Dune press tour. I still think about that outfit. Her style is edgy, bold, yet polished. Plus, we’re both in the slim category, so I know her clothes would fit well though she’s much taller! But hey, we can always make adjustments.
What’s your dream vacation destination and what would be the first thing you’d pack for it?
Italy, specifically Rome. It’s like every corner is a photo op. You could be strolling casually and suddenly stumble upon an architectural masterpiece or a historic monument. That’s what makes it magical.
First thing I’d pack? Dresses. I love clothes so much. For every trip, I plan my outfits by day and activity before anything else. Dresses come first, then I figure out shoes, swimwear, and accessories. I’m very intentional about what I wear and where I wear it.
You’re running late for a high-stakes meeting—what’s your go-to “I have my life together” outfit?
If I’m running late for a high-stakes meeting, my go-to outfit is definitely a suit. I’m in my suit era. I own about four or five. It’s what I wear when I don’t want to think too much but still want to show up looking like a boss.

What I love about suits is their versatility. You can dress them up with matching tailored pants or dress them down with jeans or a skirt. But the real star is the jacket, it pulls everything together.
What’s the most unforgettable outfit you’ve ever worn and what made it so special?

“I’ve worn quite a few unforgettable outfits. But if I had to pick one, I would say the outfit I wore to the GTCO Fashion week 2024. It was a collaboration between me and the designer. It was amazing and I had a mini viral moment with the outfit as people kept posting the picture and tagging me on Instagram and TikTok.
What’s your fashion philosophy in one sentence?

I actually have two philosophies. The first is: Less is more. I’m not exactly a minimalist, but I like to keep things clean and simple—even when I play with color.
