My name is Faustina Ofodile. I’m a 23-year-old law student with a deep love for God. From that intimacy, a natural passion for people and fashion has grown. My favorite things to do include talking with my loved ones, designing outfits, and expressing myself creatively.
If you could raid any celebrity’s (or celebrities’) wardrobe for a red carpet event, whose would it be and why?
If I could pick any wardrobe to have, it would easily be Law Roach’s—he’s a celebrity stylist whose closet is nothing short of iconic.
What’s your dream vacation destination and what would be the first thing you’d pack for it?
Right now, my dream destinations are Tanzania and Morocco. I love the unique vibe each place gives. I’d definitely pack a couple of books to match the mood. As for my style while I’m there — comfort is key. I’d keep it simple and effortless, because honestly, I’m the real attention-grabber.
You’re running late for a high-stakes meeting — what’s your go-to “I have my life together” outfit?
One outfit I really love is a rolled-up button-down shirt paired with tailored pants and stilettos.
What’s the most unforgettable outfit you’ve ever worn and what made it so special?
Another special piece is my high school graduation gown. My eldest sister bought it for me, and I know it must have been a big sacrifice at the time. It’s still a stunning dress—I plan to wear it again soon.
What’s your fashion philosophy in one sentence?
I believe I am the essence. Every piece I wear has to reflect the version of myself I see. True independence doesn’t exist, but when I draw inspiration from others, I see it through the lens of who I already am. I never try to become someone else, I just recognize the parts of me reflected in them.
How much do you budget for fashion monthly (or bi-monthly or quarterly)?
As for fashion spending, I don’t have a set budget. I only add to my wardrobe when the need arises — heavy on the “when the need arises”. I’m not into mindless shopping at the moment.
